Pollination of Art: Artist poised to build art opportunities in South Cape Girardeau
My name is Malcolm McCrae. I am an artist, author and educator that uses art to inspire the world. I help students and adults use their creativity as a tool to empower the world. My goal is to help cultivate creativity and uplift a community . As an artist and entrepreneur I know how hard it is for artists to make a living. I also know how hard it is for local youth to find creative things to do in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. The main objective is to foster a continuing relationship within the community that will provide and promote art entrepreneurship and community awareness.
As a kid I grew up in an urban environment with social and economic disadvantages. I want this project to be an inspiration to students and adults on how to use art to explore the possibilities of human connection. This space will provide our community with encouragement to discover their true interests and abilities in the arts. It will provide a new tool and techniques for self expression in the arts.
Mission Statement:
Through workshops, classes and the arts, Pollination will provide education, training and mentorship for the community of Cape Girardeau.
